I-DC5
The I-DC5 is a DC braking system that balances long casting performance with backlash prevention. It allows for precise brake adjustments using a three-stage internal dial, tailored to the type of line used (nylon, fluorocarbon, or PE), and a five-stage external brake dial to fine-tune the braking force. This system enables brake settings that maximize the characteristics of each line type. By replacing the previously assembled magnets with a one-piece four-pole magnetized ring, the effective magnetic force area is increased, resulting in a 30% boost in braking power.
