Features of the 25 Antares
MagnumLight Spool IV with Reverse Taper Design
The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the newly developed MagnumLight Spool IV.
This is a new spool with a reverse taper design, where the center is slightly raised.
By correcting the line winding shape and wrapping the line in a well-balanced manner across the entire spool, it reduces wobbling during spool rotation.

37mm Large-Diameter Spool with Centrifugal Brake
The SVS∞ (Infinity) brake system allows the characteristics of a centrifugal brake—where the trajectory extends comfortably into the latter half of the cast—to be utilized in a wide range of situations.
To maximize this comfortable extension, the 25 Antares adopts a 37mm diameter (21mm width) large spool, the first since the 12 Antares.
